What's the real difference between X-VMS and the free NVMS-7000?▼
X-VMS supports up to 100 simultaneous clients, mobile management across all LTS IP access control, and 8 video + 8 access control channels (16 total) for a one-time activation fee. NVMS-7000 with the LTS Connect app is free but limited to a single client, mobile management only on the LTK3500S(F), and a maximum of 40 access control devices.
Can I manage more than one site from X-VMS?▼
Yes — X-VMS is built to manage multiple sites, multi-point access control systems and large groups of cameras on LTS NVRs and DVRs from a single platform.
Do I need to be at a desktop to use X-VMS?▼
No. The Web Client lets you configure the system from any mainstream browser on a laptop, desktop or smartphone, and the Mobile Monitoring client keeps operators notified and able to respond while patrolling premises.
I'm on X-VMS version 2.2 or older — can I just upgrade?▼
If you're running version 2.2 or older, you may need to purchase an additional licence to upgrade — otherwise the software will not be able to upgrade. Check with LTS before downloading the latest version.
