Can I run a PoE-100E-01 extender and still be within spec?
Yes — it's designed exactly for this. It's a passive inline unit with no external power required, adding up to 120m to a 10/100Mbps PoE run beyond the standard 100m Ethernet limit.
What's the difference between PoE-100E-01, PoE-100E-02 and POE-GR90?
PoE-100E-01 is a single-output passive extender; PoE-100E-02 is the same passive, 10/100Mbps design but with two outputs for feeding two nearby devices; POE-GR90 steps up to Gigabit speeds, higher PoE++ power, and an IP67 outdoor rating. Pick based on the speed, power budget and environment the job needs.
Does the POE-GR90 need its own power supply?
No. It's powered entirely from the incoming PoE++ feed (50–57V, up to 90W) and redistributes that across its two Gigabit PoE outputs — no separate power point needed at the pole.
Is the POE-GR90 actually rated for outdoor mounting?
Yes — it carries an IP67 rating with a −40°C to 75°C operating range, so it can be mounted directly at an outdoor pole or wall rather than needing an indoor enclosure.
What kind of device does the POE-I&S kit power?
Any DC-powered, non-PoE device — think gate motors, access control boards, older analogue-to-DC cameras, or any other low-voltage equipment that doesn't speak PoE natively.
Can these be combined on the same run — extender then repeater, for example?
