Every outdoor camera has a box problem
Once a camera leaves the building, something has to house the switch, the injector, the bridge radio and the 48 V supply. Most sites end up with an electrical enclosure that was never meant for it — no pegboard, no DIN rail, no gland plan, and a lid you fight with in the rain.

- Generic junction box with hardware cable-tied to the back wall

- Camera on one bracket, box on another, radio on a third
- Nowhere to rest a laptop or a hand during commissioning
- Metal housing that cooks the switch and corrodes at the coast

Industrial PoE switch
The pegboard back panel takes the switch on standoffs anywhere you like, so port orientation follows your cable entry instead of fighting it. Run the camera, speaker and bridge off the same switch and only one cable leaves the box.

Built for the pole, not the plant room
PC/ASA, not steel
Won't rust, won't need touch-up paint, and won't act as a heat sink in full sun. UL94-V0 flame rated and finished in LTS white (RAL 9003) so it disappears on a galvanised pole.
IP66 and IK10
Rated against heavy jetting water and a 20-joule impact. That's the difference between a box that survives a car park and one you replace after the first trolley strike.
−40°C to 60°C
Operates from alpine mornings to a Pilbara afternoon, at up to 95% non-condensing humidity. Startup is rated across the same range, so it comes back after a site power cut.
Pole in five straps
Five metal strapping bands suit poles from 80 mm to 200 mm. Wall mounting uses the same installation back plate with M8 bolts (supplied separately).
Hang the camera on it
The front panel is rated to 8 kg and each side panel to 5 kg — enough for a PTZ, a horn speaker and a bridge antenna without a second bracket on the pole.
Works with LTS kit
Sized around LTS IP cameras, PTZs and IP horn speakers, with the LTB brackets you already stock. One part number covers the enclosure, the pegboard, the shelf and the DIN rail.
Typical builds
- Wireless site: 8-port PoE switch + P2P bridge on the shelf + PTZ on the front panel
- Talk-down site: switch + IP horn speaker + camera, monitored through CHeKT or Immix
- Solar site: 48 V PSU swapped for a solar charge controller and battery feed
- Car park spine: one box per pole, fibre or Cat6 hop between them

Know it fits before you quote it
Mounting holes are pre-set on the front and both side panels, so cameras, speakers and antennas land on a known pattern rather than a drill bit and a guess.

Questions we get on site
Will a 48 V PoE switch and PSU overheat inside it?
The enclosure is sealed, so plan for the heat you put in it. Keep the total continuous draw modest, mount the PSU low and the switch high, and avoid a north-facing wall in full sun where you can. For higher-power builds, spec a vented or actively cooled enclosure instead.
Can I mount a camera directly to the box?
Yes — that's what the front panel loading is for. It's rated to 8 kg, which covers LTS bullets, turrets, most PTZs and an IP horn speaker. Use the matching LTB bracket for the camera you're fitting and run the tail straight through a gland.
What pole diameters does it fit?
80 mm to 200 mm using the five metal strapping bands in the box. Anything outside that range, or a square post, mounts through the installation back plate the same way a wall install does.
Is it suitable for coastal sites?
The housing itself is PC/ASA polymer, so there's no rust path in the enclosure. Salt exposure is then about what you mount on it — pair it with anti-corrosion cameras and stainless fixings near the water.
How do I get cables in without breaking the rating?
Use the supplied glands: two sizes of waterproof connector for camera and speaker tails, plus G3/4 and M20 cable glands for the mains and uplink. The included piercing accessory lets you pass a terminated network lead through without cutting the plug off.
