One Small Module Bridges Old Wiring Into a New Ajax System
The Ajax MultiTransmitter connects up to 18 wired zones — from any brand of PIR, reed switch, glass-break or panic button — directly onto its terminal block, exactly like the old panel did. It then encrypts and relays every one of those zones wirelessly over Ajax's Jeweller protocol to a Hub 2 up to 2km away. The cable stays in the wall. The sensors stay on the wall. Only the panel changes.

The Hub 2 supports up to 100 devices in total. MultiTransmitter Change-Over FAQ
Do we need to rewire the whole property?
No. Existing zone cabling lands directly onto the MultiTransmitter's terminal block — that's the entire point of the module. The only new wiring is the MultiTransmitter's own power connection.
Can we keep the existing sensors?
Yes. The MultiTransmitter is sensor-agnostic — it accepts a dry contact from any brand of wired PIR, reed switch, glass-break detector or panic button.
How many wired zones does one MultiTransmitter support?
Up to 18 wired zones, plus 2 additional tamper-monitored inputs.
What if the site has more than 18 zones?
Add a second MultiTransmitter to the same Hub, or step up to a Hub 2 Plus configuration for larger commercial sites — talk to the LTS team to size it correctly.
Will the existing monitoring centre relationship continue?
Yes. The Hub 2 reports via SIA DC-09 IP protocol and Contact ID, which most Australian monitoring centres already support directly.
Do the new siren and keypad need cabling?
No. The StreetSiren, HomeSiren and KeyPad are fully wireless Jeweller devices with up to 5-year battery life, fitted with the SmartBracket system.
What happens if the client's internet goes down?
The Hub 2's dual SIM keeps reporting independently of the client's internet connection, so monitoring continues uninterrupted.
How long does a typical change-over take?
