Because each terminal is a self-contained IP door controller and reader in one unit, there is no separate control panel to wire in, which keeps installation time and cabling costs down. The kit also includes mounting back-boxes, a 4-port PoE network switch and RFID tags, so most of what a technician needs for a two-door residential, office or amenity-room deployment is included in a single box.
