The LTS Platinum Plus LTN8708DV-P8 is an 8-channel 1U DeepVision network video recorder with eight PoE ports. The USA page calls it an entry-level semantic-search model: 8-channel, 4K, 80 Mbps, recording up to 12 MP, 4K output, H.265/H.265+, two-way audio and alarm, in a 1U case with two HDD bays up to 16 TB each. Available in Australia from LTS Security (LTN8708DV-P8).

DeepVision and Direct Search

The page lists up to 8-channel DeepVision and Direct Search. On the spec sheet, DeepVision runs on all channels when cameras support MD 2.0 and Direct Search is enabled, modelling up to 50,000 targets a day. Search language is English. Direct Search is all channels by camera, and the camera must have Direct Search enabled.

Motion detection 2.0 and perimeter protection

MD 2.0 by the NVR covers all channels up to 4 MP, or up to 8 MP with enhanced SVC, using human and vehicle recognition to reduce false alarms. Perimeter protection by the NVR is up to 4 MP on 2 channels, or 5 MP to 8 MP on 1 channel. All channels are available when the camera does the analytics.

Decoding figures, as published

The product page says up to 3 channels at 12 MP or 6 channels at 8 MP. The spec-sheet feature line says up to 4 channels at 12 MP or 6 channels at 8 MP. The specification table says AI on: 6 channels at 4 MP, and AI off: 6 channels at 8 MP. Those three statements are all on LTS sources and they do not match.
