LTS Platinum 8MP AI Vandal Dome IP Camera - 2.8-12mm Motorized Lens

LTS Platinum CMIP7283W-SDZ 8MP AI Vandal Dome IP Camera

The LTS Platinum CMIP7283W-SDZ is an 8-megapixel network dome camera built for installers who need flexible framing and reliable AI-based alarm filtering in one rugged housing. A 2.8-12mm motorised varifocal lens lets technicians remotely fine-tune zoom and focus after mounting, while onboard deep-learning analytics distinguish people and vehicles from swaying branches, insects, or other nuisance triggers. Housed in an IK10 impact-rated, IP67 weatherproof dome, this camera is designed for car parks, warehouse perimeters, loading docks, and other exposed commercial sites where both image quality and physical durability matter.

Key Features

• 8MP Ultra HD Resolution - captures detailed 3840 x 2160 video at up to 20fps for clear identification of faces, plates, and activity.
• 2.8-12mm Motorised Varifocal Lens - remotely adjustable zoom and focus give roughly 4x optical reach without needing to physically swap lenses on site.
• AI Human & Vehicle Detection - deep-learning based analytics classify targets to cut down false motion alerts from weather, wildlife, or debris.
• Matrix IR Night Vision - intelligent infrared LEDs adjust output across the zoom range for even illumination up to roughly 40m in darkness.
• True WDR (120dB) - balances harsh backlight and shadow simultaneously, helped by BLC and 3D DNR noise reduction for cleaner low-light footage.
• IK10 Vandal-Resistant & IP67 Weatherproof - a reinforced housing withstands impact and is fully sealed against dust and rain for outdoor deployment.
• H.265/H.265+ Compression - reduces bandwidth and storage requirements considerably compared with older H.264 streams.
• Flexible Power & Storage - runs on 12VDC or standard 802.3af PoE, with a microSD slot supporting cards up to 256GB for edge recording.
• Two-Way Audio Support - built-in audio input/output enables live listen-in or remote voice deterrence when paired with compatible speakers/mics.

Reliable AI Surveillance for Commercial & Perimeter Sites

Because it combines a long-reach motorised lens with rugged vandal and weather protection, the CMIP7283W-SDZ suits building entrances, retail car parks, warehouse yards, and school perimeters where cameras are exposed to the elements and potential tampering. Pairing the onboard human/vehicle AI classification with an LTS Platinum NVR allows operators to set smarter alerts, search recorded footage by object type, and reduce time spent reviewing irrelevant motion events.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this camera need a separate power supply if I already have a PoE NVR? No - the CMIP7283W-SDZ supports standard 802.3af PoE, so a single network cable from a compatible PoE switch or NVR can supply both power and data, though a 12VDC option is also available.

Can I adjust the zoom after the camera is mounted? Yes - the 2.8-12mm lens is motorised, so the zoom and focus can be adjusted remotely through the camera's web interface or connected NVR without climbing back up to the mounting point.

Will the AI detection work with any LTS NVR? The human and vehicle detection metadata is designed to integrate with LTS Platinum NVRs and compatible VMS software for smart search and filtered alerts, though the camera also functions as a standard ONVIF-compatible IP camera with other systems.
